There were a number of inspirations for the design of the Contingent HQ building. There is a newly constructed and well appointed corporate retreat complex at the Mountain Lake Resort in Pembroke, Virginia. Coincidentally, this was this resort was the centerpiece of filming for the motion picture Dirty Dancing. There is also a newly constructed LEED certified structure that serves as the New River Gorge Visitors Center in West Virginia. This is a fantastic example of what we are trying to emulate at Eco-Tech. There are photos of each shown below:
