In this update I would like to introduce the companies that are participating in this project. Starting with the design team we have Designhaus, PLLC of Rochester, Michigan as the lead architect, mechanical and electrical engineer; Nexus Engineering as the civil engineer and land surveyor; Haley-Dusa as land surveyor, ThirdSun Solar & Wind Power of Athens, Ohio as alternative energy engineer. Of course we have also consulted with our friends at the Butler County Department of Development and West Chester Township. The general contractor in charge of construction is Haglage Construction, Inc. Financing for the project is being provided by Franklin Savings and Loan of Blue Ash. The Everest Group is the listing agent handling the promotion and availability of the remaining 8+ acres at the site. Strauss & Troy is handling all of the legal and administrative aspects of the project including site acquisition.We are extremely proud to have them all on board and although the first shovel has not yet gone into the ground they have all done a great deal of work thus far to get us to this point.
The official groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for next week however demolition work and excavation will start immediately. We are currently in the building permit process with the County and Township and are hopeful for a speedy approval. Below are a couple other computer generated renderings that have arrived since my last post. In my next post I will focus on the construction style and major components as well as some inspirations for each.
